1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy is issued by Echelon Partners Real Estate L.L.C. (“Echelon Partners”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a real estate brokerage registered in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy & Tourism and regulated by the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) under broker registration number 58723.

2. Scope

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal data when you visit our website, contact us via WhatsApp, email or phone, or otherwise engage us in connection with property advisory services. It is issued in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (“PDPL”) and applicable Dubai laws and regulations.

3. Personal data we collect

  • Identity & contact data: name, nationality, passport / Emirates ID details, phone number, email address.
  • Investor profile data: budget, financing arrangements, source of funds declarations, preferences and timelines.
  • Transactional data: properties enquired about, reservation forms, sale & purchase agreements, NOC and DLD documentation.
  • Technical data: IP address, device, browser type, pages visited and basic analytics from our website.
  • Communications: WhatsApp messages, emails, call records and meeting notes.

4. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide property advisory and brokerage services.
  • To match you with suitable off-plan opportunities and prepare investor-grade analysis.
  • To execute reservations, sale & purchase agreements and developer / DLD registrations.
  • To comply with our legal obligations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requirements under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2018 and related regulations.
  • To maintain books and records as required by RERA, the DLD and UAE tax authorities.
  • To send service-related communications and, where you consent, market updates.

5. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of: (a) your consent; (b) the performance of a contract to which you are a party or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract; (c) compliance with a legal obligation; and (d) our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business, where these are not overridden by your rights.

6. Disclosure

We may share your personal data with:

  • Property developers (e.g. Emaar, DAMAC, Nakheel, Sobha, Ellington, Omniyat) for reservation and unit allocation.
  • The Dubai Land Department, RERA, Dubai Courts, banks and notaries as required to complete transactions.
  • Regulatory and law enforcement authorities where required by UAE law.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, IT service providers and similar third parties bound by confidentiality.

We do not sell your personal data.

7. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the UAE, we ensure an adequate level of protection in line with Article 22 of the PDPL, including through appropriate contractual safeguards.

8. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and to satisfy applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and AML obligations — generally for a minimum of five (5) years after the end of the client relationship.

9. Your rights

Under the PDPL you have, subject to conditions, the right to:

  • Access your personal data and request a copy;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request deletion or restriction of processing;
  • Withdraw consent at any time;
  • Object to processing, including for direct marketing;
  • Data portability and to file a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

10. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. No system is entirely secure; you share personal data with us at your own risk.

12. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts.
